We went strawberry eati picking this past Friday at Eco Farm, and the kids had a blast. John and Cindy [about the nicest people you could ever hope to meet] laughed off my insistence that the kids be weighed before and after our time in the fields to pay for our strawberry booty. We will definitely be stopping by their stand at the local farmers’ markets [you can find them at the Carrboro Farmers' Market, the Fearrington Farmers' Market, the Southern Village Farmers' Market, and the Western Wake Farmers' Market.]
It’s time again for the annual Smith Mountain Lake Arts Council photo contest and show! I was beyond flattered that my photo “Fortune Teller” won last year’s People’s Choice Award. Here are this year’s entries [scroll over for titles]:
Your pictures are amazing, Meg. ♥ I love “Freedom”!

This is the third session I’ve done with one of my favorite families. They just welcomed the fifth member of their family, gorgeous baby boy B. We shot at the beautiful Sisters’ Garden in Chapel Hill.
Puppet shows, delightful friends and delicious chili. This town knows how to throw a cool kid’s party.
Meg,
Your pics are beautiful! Recently I started a “pinterest” acct. and I wanted to let you know I put your studioxanadeau as a “pin”. I always try to promote anyone I know and of course I love your work. By the way, lovely picture of Chris above on GF night. Glad they are settled in ok, but will miss them for sure. Hope they come back!
Miss you guys
Good to see the kids on FB though, they sure are getting big. Riv’s hair is so long and Xan looks so old. Is he excited about k-garten?
Love ya’ll
Steph
