Darling Buds

March 30, 2009

I had a session yesterday morning with one of my favorite families. This was our first shoot with Miss Baby B, who was all smiles and giggles. Little miss D was a bit more reserved than usual, but she still gave me plenty pearly white flashes and her signature soulful-eyed stares. Here is a preview:

Sunshine on a Rainy Day

March 16, 2009

You know the very first image of that beautiful newborn on my website? Well, she’s seven months old now! We were hoping to have an outdoor shoot but, as luck would have it, it was raining cats and dogs! We went ahead and shot indoors because I didn’t want to miss this sweet age she’s at right now.

I have so many talented friends. Yes, I am talking about you. I think other people should see how talented you are, as well. So, I’ve created a new category in my menu just for you. If you have a website for your art or your craft (and you’d like to have a link on this blog) please leave me a comment in this post, and fill out the following in your comment:

Site name:
Web address:
One sentence description:

Below are my submissions for A&I’s new book A&I Presents: A Collection of Collaboration. The book will include upwards of 15 artists, and each artist will be given 3-4 two-page spreads within the book. It will be the first of A&I’s books to have its own ISBN number and will be sold on their website to benefit The Heart Project. It’s still in production, but I will update this blog when it is available for purchase. I’m not sure which of the following photos will be used, but these are the ones I submitted for the two-page layout (click thumbnail for full image):

My two niblets were boss in helping me scope out a new shooting location.

We Got this little guy at the Musem of Life & Science in Durham this past weekend. He’s fantastically photogenic, don’t you think?
