I have a confession to make. I am a memory packrat. I’ve been going through old photos this evening in an attempt to clear up some space on my hard drive. Let’s just say… it’s not going well. I have a hard time deleting even the most atrocious, out-of focus shots for fear of losing that irreplaceable moment in time. I’m such a sap.

Anyway, while perusing my old folders, I found this gem:

five-years-old
That’s my sweet little niece (on the right) and one of her best friends at her fifth birthday party. I’m hoping these two remain besties for the rest of their lives so that they can look back on this photo and realized that time means nothing when it comes to true friendship.

Oh they are just too sweet!

In my last photography class our teachers BEGGED us not to ever, ever delete anything! I’m not sure how practical that is with raw files and limited storage space, but they said you’ll find yourself going through a batch of photos for the 100th time years later and discover something you didn’t see the other 99 times.
