We went strawberry eati picking this past Friday at Eco Farm, and the kids had a blast. John and Cindy [about the nicest people you could ever hope to meet] laughed off my insistence that the kids be weighed before and after our time in the fields to pay for our strawberry booty. We will definitely be stopping by their stand at the local farmers’ markets [you can find them at the Carrboro Farmers' Market, the Fearrington Farmers' Market, the Southern Village Farmers' Market, and the Western Wake Farmers' Market.]

Six from Saxapahaw

We’d been hearing a lot about Saturdays in Saxapahaw, but this is the first year we’ve had a chance to experience it. It’s a great place that fills up with great people. We plan to make it a habit.
