Seasons in The South

January 25, 2010

The following four images are for a display in our local pediatricians’ office. I can’t tell you how long it took me to decide on which images to use. They will be lined up horizontally along the front main wall. I hope you can really feel the seasons in each one of these images. I haven’t printed the large images yet [they will most likely be 20"x30"] so, before I do, I would be thrilled to get your feedback.

Fall Sessions

January 25, 2010

I’ve been so busy, I neglected to post two of my most fun fall sessions from this past year. I adored working with both of these families. The following are a few of my favorites from those two shoots.

Museum Con

September 14, 2009

Below are some [mildly edited] photos from the one-day Heroes, Villains and Special Effects event extravaganza at the North Carolina Museum of Life and Science. Man am I glad that I’m “press”, or we never would have gotten a parking space!

I had the pleasure of photographing the opening of the new Dinosaur Trail at the North Carolina Museum of Life and Science. Below are a few of my favorite shots but, if you’re in the Triangle area, you really should get over there and check it out for yourself. Kids or no!

Family Fun

July 6, 2009

I had such a great time photographing this family of four. I love families who obviously know how to have fun together! Here is a preview of their session:

I have a confession to make. I am a memory packrat. I’ve been going through old photos this evening in an attempt to clear up some space on my hard drive. Let’s just say… it’s not going well. I have a hard time deleting even the most atrocious, out-of focus shots for fear of losing that irreplaceable moment in time. I’m such a sap.

Anyway, while perusing my old folders, I found this gem:

five-years-old
That’s my sweet little niece (on the right) and one of her best friends at her fifth birthday party. I’m hoping these two remain besties for the rest of their lives so that they can look back on this photo and realized that time means nothing when it comes to true friendship.
