Little Star
March 18, 2010

This little guy obviously felt at home.

Whether you’re with someone or enjoying Valntine’s Day solo… I hope you have an awesome one.

The following four images are for a display in our local pediatricians’ office. I can’t tell you how long it took me to decide on which images to use. They will be lined up horizontally along the front main wall. I hope you can really feel the seasons in each one of these images. I haven’t printed the large images yet [they will most likely be 20"x30"] so, before I do, I would be thrilled to get your feedback.

Hi Meg,
They are beautiful. Of course I know and love the children who are in the pics. But they are the kind of shots that would be greatly enjoyed and appreciated by anyone whether or not they knew the children.
My 2 favorites are the one of River in the flowers and the one of Xan with the leaf.
Another picture I loved of Xan was a front view where he is jumping/running. I enjoy all of them, but that is the one that came to mind.
Miss you and your family,
Love, Pat
Thank you so much for your comment, Pat. I wish I could use that jump shot, but I’m using a horizontal format and that image is staunchly vertical. Gah! The leaf picture is actually not Xan, but an older boy [I tried to get some age variation in the shots] from one of my fall shoots last year. But, it’s definitely hard to tell who’s hiding behind that lovely leaf.
The one of River in the field of flowers, and the one of Xander with the christmas bells are my favorite. The Color and Pattern with the Xan picture is bueno. You do good work.
Meghan! These are STUNNING! The colors are delicious and you TOTALLY got the seasons spot on. Love!
I’ve been so busy, I neglected to post two of my most fun fall sessions from this past year. I adored working with both of these families. The following are a few of my favorites from those two shoots.
I was beyond excited to be asked to contribute photos for this project. Now, I’m even more excited to share with you the finished product*:
One of the most awesome [and humbling] things about taking part in this collaboration is being in the company of five phenomenally talented photographers and artists. But the best part is that a portion of the the sales go to help a great cause. I should also mention, A&I photographic did a phenomenal job putting together and printing the book. Thank you so much, Dee, for inviting me to be a part of this.
[*My images are the last five in the book, and the bottom two images on the front cover.]
I am SO PROUD OF YOU! This is amazing! Yay, yay, YAY!
This is incredible. I just ordered a copy. You rock so hard.
Thank you both for your kind words! And, Laurie, YOU rock so hard for ordering the book. I hope you enjoy it – it really is beautiful. I would actually like to find where I can buy poster-sized prints of Kimo Easterwood’s work. Amazing.
Congratulations! That is SO COOL.
Dude, this is beyond cool!! I am so proud of you and so honored to call you my friend.
…so cool…
Your photos are amazing and you really deserve this, yay you! xx
Pretty please? I simply can’t think of anything worthy for this one.
