~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

We’d been hearing a lot about Saturdays in Saxapahaw, but this is the first year we’ve had a chance to experience it. It’s a great place that fills up with great people. We plan to make it a habit.

I have finally gotten off my duff and entered a photo contest & show. I don’t have any expectations, but it’s exciting to think about my photos hanging out with other photos. It’s time for them to join the party – they’ve been shut-ins for way too long! Here are my four entries; two in the wildlife category and two in the people category [scroll over photos for titles]:

Also, if you have any plans to be at the show and are interested, the two wildlife photos [framed 12x18 prints] will be on sale for $75 each. I will update if any are lucky enough to claim a prize. Wish them luck!
the two wildlife ones are amazing. you focus very well.
Your pictures are ridiculously fantastic. I am amazed, as always. Please keep us posted!
These pictures are amazing. I love the pursed lips AND the squirrel. Awesome!
Excellent write up, I will save this in my Reddit account. Have a great evening.
[...] photo contest and show! I was beyond flattered that my photo “Fortune Teller” won last year’s People’s Choice Award. Here are this year’s entries [scroll over for [...]
